RKT Shot Blasting

Anand Parbat is a noisy place, and Gali No-13 is right in the middle of it all. RKT Shot Blasting is situated here, not too far from the railway station. You can usually hear the trains if it’s a quiet moment, which doesn’t happen often in this industrial area. We spend most of our hours dealing with the grit and the machines used for cleaning up metal surfaces. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty pretty fast. The shop isn't some polished showroom. It’s a place where things actually get done. We have the equipment set up across the floor and there is always some piece of machinery being worked on. People from around the neighborhood know where to find us. We’ve stayed in this spot because it makes sense for the kind of heavy work we do. Being near the station helps with moving things around when needed. There’s no fancy lobby or air-conditioned waiting room here. It’s just a workshop with high ceilings and the smell of metal and machinery. We wake up, open the shutters, and get to it. Some days are longer than others depending on how much work is piled up. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork unless we really have to. Most of the time, we are just focusing on the job at hand. It’s a simple life in a busy part of town.
