We set up our business at Plot B-268 in Nathupura, Burari. We are very close to the Government Primary School. You can usually hear the kids playing and shouting during their break times, which keeps things lively. Our office is a simple one-room setup for the most part. We have some storage space for the stuff we sell, but it’s not a huge warehouse. It’s just a local enterprise. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way on purpose because it's easier. It’s easier to manage things when it’s just a few of us. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and trying to get things delivered on time. The roads in Burari can be a bit bumpy and muddy, especially after it rains. We have an old desk and a couple of mismatched chairs for when people stop by to talk about orders. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just talk to people face to face or over the phone like we always have. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood. We know their names and what they usually need for their homes or shops. It's not a fast-paced environment and we don't try to make it one. We take things as they come. Sometimes we stay late to finish up paperwork, but usually, we close up at a decent hour. It's just a regular local business doing its thing near the school.
