Inside, the office is pretty much what you’d expect from a place that deals with commodities. There are phones ringing and people checking prices on their screens constantly. It’s not a polished corporate floor in a skyscraper; it’s a more grounded space. We’ve got stacks of paper everywhere and the furniture has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. We don’t spend much on decorations because we’re focused on the day-to-day work. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know the rhythms of the market and the neighborhood.
