V.F.S

We’re set up in Block No-9, Quarter No-1, over in the Railway Colony at Sewa Nagar. It’s a government area, so it has a certain feel to it. Living and working in a railway colony means you’re always hearing the distant sound of trains and seeing people in uniform. We handle a lot of paperwork here. V.F.S. keeps us busy with people always asking about their documents or where they need to go next. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls. It’s a regular quarter converted for our use. We have rows of files and a few desks tucked into the rooms. The colony is quite green, which is nice when we step out for a break. People come from all over Delhi to find us in Sewa Nagar. Sometimes it’s a bit hard to find the right block if you aren't from around here. We spend a lot of time checking details and making sure names are spelled right. It’s repetitive work but it’s important for the people who need our help. We’ve got a small group of us working here. We share tea and talk about the news while we process the day's stack of papers. It’s a very grounded way to work. No big corporate speeches, just making sure the files move from one desk to the next. It’s been our base for a while now and we know the rhythms of the colony well.
