We are based at 256 Munirka in New Delhi. This part of the city is always moving, and our office is right in the middle of all that action. It is a basic building, nothing that stands out much if you are just walking past it on the street. Inside, it is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of people talking. We handle financial matters and data, so there is a lot of staring at computer screens for most of the day. The lighting is not the best in the back, and sometimes the lift in the building is out of order, so we end up taking the stairs. It is a bit of a workout, especially in the middle of the summer heat. We do not have a fancy breakroom or anything like that. We usually just eat our lunch at our desks or go out to one of the small food shops nearby in the Munirka lanes. The work can be a bit dry, mostly involving numbers and daily reports, but we have a good group of people here who keep things light. We have a couple of plants that we forget to water sometimes, sitting on the window sills. It is a very normal, everyday office vibe. No one here is wearing expensive suits; we just come in, do the work, and head home to avoid the heavy evening traffic. It gets pretty loud when everyone is on the phone at once.
