Our small team works out of 502E/5A in Govindpuri, which is right in the middle of the busy Kalkaji area in New Delhi. If you have ever been through this part of the city, you know exactly how the streets are. It is loud and there is always something going on right outside the door. Our space is tucked into the block, and it is pretty basic inside. We have got our desks lined up and enough power strips to keep all the machines running, though the wiring looks a bit like a bird's nest under the tables. The summer heat in Delhi is no joke, so we spend a lot of our time making sure the cooling keeps up so we can actually focus. We do not have any fancy meeting rooms or lounge areas for people to sit in. It is mostly just us and our equipment. When we need a break, we usually just step out into the lane for some tea or a quick walk to stretch our legs. It is a crowded neighborhood, but it is convenient being so close to the metro and the main markets. We have been in this Govindpuri spot for some time now and it has just become our second home. It is not a polished corporate office, but it works for what we need to do every day without any unnecessary fuss.
