Our place is located right by the Madras Coffee House on Shiv Mandir Road in Jharia. It’s in the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. Ramboll Imi Soft Pvt Ltd is a small team working in this busy part of town. Having the coffee house so close is probably the best part, as we’re over there quite a lot. Shiv Mandir Road is always full of people and bikes, so it’s never quiet. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our computers and files. We don’t have any fancy posters or corporate slogans. We’re just regular people trying to make a living and do a good job with the technical work we handle. The building is older, and sometimes the power fluctuates, which is just part of living in Dhanbad. We don’t make a big deal out of things. We just fix what’s broken and keep moving. It feels very local here. People stop by to chat, and we know the folks running the nearby shops. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits every day. We usually just wear whatever is comfortable and get to work. Being so close to the coffee house is a bit of a blessing and a curse because we spend too much on snacks. But the smell of fresh beans is better than the usual city smells. Shiv Mandir Road is always buzzing, especially during the festivals when the temple nearby is crowded. It’s a modest way to run a business, but it works for us.
