You can find us at Satish Kumar’s place in Vill-Rithori, out in the G. B. Nagar district near Greater Noida. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but that’s where Ramboll Imi Soft P Ltd is based. Being in a village area like Rithori means it’s a lot different from the high-rise offices in the center of Noida. It’s more grounded here. We work out of a plain building that doesn’t look like much from the outside. Inside, it’s just us with our gear and a few tables. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just focus on the daily chores and the technical work we need to finish. The roads around here can be a bit dusty, and things move at a slower pace than in the city. We actually like it that way. It gives us time to think. It takes a bit of time to get out here from the main highway, but it’s worth it for the peace. You might see some cows on the road or farmers in the fields on your way to see us. We usually bring our own tiffins and eat together under the shade of the trees nearby if it’s a nice day. It’s a simple existence, and it keeps our overheads low. We don't need to put on a show for anyone. We just focus on the software work and make sure we meet our deadlines. It’s a very grounded way to live and work.
