If you are looking for room 236 at the Delhi High Court, that is where you will find us. It’s a pretty intense place to be every day with all the lawyers and people rushing around the hallways. The energy is always high, and there is never a quiet moment during court hours. Our space is tucked away, filled with stacks of folders and papers that seem to grow every week. We spend a lot of time just managing the schedule and making sure we are where we need to be. It’s not like a regular office in a quiet suburb. You hear the announcements and the sound of many feet walking on the stone floors. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the corridor outside, especially on busy days when several cases are happening at once. We’ve been based in this specific spot for a good while now. Most of our day is spent reading through documents or talking to people who come by with quick questions. It’s a practical setup, meant for working rather than looking impressive. We don’t have fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to do the job. The light in the room isn't always the brightest, but we have enough lamps to see the fine print on all those legal papers. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t familiar with the building, but once you find room 236, it’s pretty straightforward.
