M/S Surya Computer

My shop, M/S Surya Computer, is located at Rz-31 in Shankar Park. We are right in the heart of West Sagar Pur. It’s a small place, mostly filled with old monitors, cables, and half-broken motherboards. I started this because I liked taking things apart. Now, I spend my days fixing laptops for students or building PCs for people in the neighborhood. Sagar Pur is a crowded place, and my shop is no different. There’s barely enough room to walk sometimes because of all the boxes. People bring in computers that have stopped working or just need a new part. I spend a lot of time cleaning out dust—Delhi has so much of it that it ruins the fans. It’s not a fancy showroom. I don’t have a uniform or a receptionist. It’s just me and sometimes a helper. We talk to the customers about what’s wrong and try to give them a fair price. Some days are slow and I just sit and read the paper, and other days everyone’s hard drive seems to fail at once. I’ve been at this address for years. People know they can come here when their screen goes black. It’s just honest work. I don't use big words to explain things. I just fix the machine and hand it back. It’s messy, but it’s how I earn my living and it works out for everyone in the end.
