Star Computer

We are up here on the first floor in Salahpur Khera, right at 25/4 on Street 3. It’s a busy little spot in Bijwasan and sometimes it gets pretty noisy with the traffic outside, but we like it here. My desk is usually covered in spare parts and screws from whatever laptop I’m currently looking at. We’ve been at this for a while now, just handling whatever comes through the door. It isn’t a fancy showroom with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace where things actually get done. If you walk up the stairs, you’ll see our sign. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s hot, but it keeps the air moving while we work on motherboards or try to recover files for people. Most of the people around here know us by now. We spend a lot of time just staring at screens or digging through drawers for that one specific cable someone needs. It’s dusty work sometimes, especially when we open up an old desktop that hasn’t been cleaned in five years. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile of repairs. There’s a tea stall not far away where we usually grab a cup in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. That’s pretty much the daily routine for us at Star Computer. We stay open until the evening most days, unless something comes up.
