Raavi Publisher & Distributor is located at C-2, 110, on the second floor in Om Vihar. We are based in Uttam Nagar, which is a busy part of West Delhi. Getting up to our office involves a bit of a walk up the stairs since we are on the second floor. It’s a modest space, not very big, but it’s enough for what we do. We mostly focus on getting books ready and sending them out to different places. There are always stacks of books leaning against the walls and paper scattered on the desks. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in at once. Outside, the streets of Om Vihar are always full of life, and you can hear the local market noise from our windows. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who know how to handle the distribution side of things. It’s a lot of physical work, moving boxes and checking lists. We don’t put on any acts here; it’s just a plain office where we work hard. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit by the window to see what we are doing. It’s just the reality of running a small business in this part of town. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly when to bring our afternoon cups. It’s a simple routine, and it keeps us going throughout the week.
