R R Modeller

R R Modeller is located in Palam Colony, specifically Rzf 100 28 A Gali No 41. It’s one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows everyone. We work on making models and prototypes for different things. It’s very detailed work, so we have a lot of small tools and magnifying glasses lying around. The space is a bit cramped because we have to keep so many materials on hand. Sometimes we are working on architectural models, and other times it’s something totally different. We spend hours getting the scale just right. It’s the kind of job that requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. If you make one wrong cut, you might have to start the whole piece over again. We don't have a big sign outside, just our name on the door. People find us through word of mouth mostly. The lighting in the shop is the most important thing so we don't miss any tiny details. We usually have a fan going because it gets stuffy in the back room. We aren't doing this to get rich; we just like the process of building things from scratch. It’s quiet work, and we get to stay in our own little world most of the day. There is always a lot of dust from the materials we use, but it's okay.
