Project Engineer

Our office is tucked away in Gali No 5 in Laxmi Nagar. If you know Delhi, you know how these streets get. It is quite a busy spot. We have been working as Project Engineer from this J-28 address for a while now. Most days it is just us dealing with blueprints and trying to figure out site issues. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic and people moving about, but we manage. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but that is just part of living and working in this part of town. We are not some big corporation with fancy lobbies. It is just a small space where we get the technical work done. My desk is usually covered in papers and half-finished tea. People come by to talk about their construction plans or ask for advice on a project they are starting. We do not have a lot of staff, so things move at their own pace here. It is honest work. We spend a lot of time on site too, so the office is empty some afternoons. That is how it goes. We try to be practical and just solve the problems right in front of us without making a big deal out of it. It is just life in Laxmi Nagar for us. I have been in this field for years and it is always the same—just one problem after another to solve until the building is standing and the owners can move in.
