Programmer

I’m based on the 2nd floor of house 664 in Chirag Delhi. If you’ve ever walked through the narrow lanes here, you know how crowded and busy they can get at any hour. It’s a maze of buildings and small shops, but it has its own character and history. My office is just a room I’ve converted into a workspace so I don't have to go far. Being in the 110017 area means I’m close to a lot of things, but the noise from the street never really stops. You can hear the scooters, the rickshaws, and people talking all day long. I mostly keep the windows shut and focus on the code on my screen. As a Programmer in Delhi, life is fast, but my actual work is quite slow and methodical. I spend hours looking for a single misplaced bracket or trying to make a page load faster. The building is old, and the stairs are steep and a bit uneven, so I don't get many visitors. It’s mostly just me and my machine in this small room. Lunch usually comes from a local dhaba nearby, which is cheap and fills you up for the rest of the afternoon. I’ve been in this spot for a while now. It’s not a polished tech office with glass walls and free snacks; it’s just a practical space in a very busy part of the city. There’s something about the energy of Chirag Delhi that keeps me going.
