Prisha Shawls Private Limited

We are located at the back of the building on the first floor near Jamia Nagar. The property number is F-11/17 in the Jogabai Extension area of Okhla. Jamia Nagar is a very busy place and it can be hard to find a parking spot anywhere near our office. Prisha Shawls Private Limited deals with a lot of textiles every single day. The room is usually filled with the smell of wool and different fabrics we are working with. We have a few long tables where we spread everything out to check for flaws or mismatched colors. It’s mostly just a few of us working here in this part of South Delhi. The stairs leading up are a bit narrow and steep so bringing up big bundles of shawls can be a real workout for us. We don’t have a big neon sign out front or anything like that. People mostly find us by asking the neighbors or the local shopkeepers. It gets quite warm in the summers but we have old ceiling fans going all day. We like the neighborhood because everything we need like thread and packing materials is close by. We’ve stayed in this part of town for a reason. It’s where the work happens. Our days start early and end when the last shipment is logged in the book. We don't use any complicated software to track things just simple handwritten lists. It’s honest work and we try to do it right without making a big fuss about things.
