We’ve been at Thapar House on Janpath for quite some time now. Dealing with wines and spirits isn't always easy but it's what we do every day. Janpath is always busy, you know how it is with the traffic and people everywhere. We spend most of our mornings checking stock and handling deliveries coming into the office at 124. It’s a solid spot to be, right in the mix of things. People often ask how we manage everything from this location, but we just make it work. It's mostly about keeping the shelves organized and making sure the paperwork for the spirits is right. We aren't a big flashy storefront, just a regular office handling the back-end of things for the bottles you see around. Sometimes the noise outside is a bit much, but being in the middle of the city has its perks for getting things moved quickly. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Most days it’s just us drinking tea and making sure the orders are lined up for the next day. It's honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you’re looking for the big corporate vibes, you won't find that here. Just a few of us making sure the logistics of the wine trade keep moving. It's a lot of phone calls and checking manifests. We just keep our heads down and get the job done without much fuss at all.
