Pluss Clothing Llp is located right in the middle of Mayapuri, at A38/3, Phase-1. If you know this part of New Delhi, you know it’s mostly about factories and hard work. Our space is pretty industrial, nothing too pretty to look at, but it’s where all the magic with the clothes happens. We spend most of our mornings unloading trucks or checking the stitching on the new shirts. It’s loud because of the machines and the traffic outside in South West Delhi is usually a nightmare during rush hour. We’ve had this spot for some time and we've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside, it's usually a bit of a mess with threads on the floor and piles of fabric waiting to be cut. We don't have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in, and they usually find us busy at the back. We have a small team of workers who really know their stuff when it comes to tailoring. Lunch breaks are usually just us sitting around talking about local news or whatever is happening in the market. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. It's a straightforward business, really. We just make clothes and try to make sure they get out the door on time every single week. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out while chatting.
