Playway Products

Our workshop is located in the Bawana Industrial Area, specifically in Sector-3 at E-115-116. Playway Products has been in this spot for a good while. Bawana is a tough place to work sometimes because it gets really hot and the dust from all the other factories is always in the air. We have a lot of space in the units, but it is mostly taken up by machinery and raw materials. There is always a smell of plastic or metal, depending on what we are doing that day. We start early before the sun gets too high because the sheds can get like ovens by midday. Most of the guys here live nearby or take the bus in. We spend our time making things, packing them into crates, and loading them onto trucks that come through the narrow lanes of the sector. It is loud work with the machines running constantly, so you have to shout to be heard. We don't have a fancy front office; just a small desk where the bills are kept. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half the day fixing them ourselves. It is physical work and we go home pretty tired. But it is what we do, and we have been doing it this way at this address for years without much changing in our daily routine. The tea guy comes by at four.
