Pixelnet

Working out of Shop No. 2 in the Shopping Complex at the Air Force Station has its own unique feel. Being situated within the station area means things are usually a bit more orderly compared to the markets in the middle of the city. Pixelnet has been here for a while now, serving the people who live and work around the base. It is a small shop, but we make the most of the space we have. Most of our days are spent at the counter, talking to customers and fixing things up. The shopping complex is a central point for many who stay on the station, so we see a lot of familiar faces every week. It's a quiet environment for the most part, which I personally enjoy. We don’t have any big flashy signs or loud music playing. We just open up in the morning and get to work. Sometimes there’s a bit of a queue when everyone gets off duty in the evening, but people are generally patient. We’ve gotten used to the sounds of the planes and the general rhythm of the Air Force Station. It feels safe and steady here. The shop itself is pretty basic, just some counters, a few displays, and our tools. We try to keep things organized, though on busy days, the workspace can get a bit messy with various projects. It is a good place to be.
