Being in Okhla Industrial Area Phase-ii means it is always loud outside. We are at S-68, and if you know this part of town, you know it is all about work. Trucks are always backing up and the sound of machinery is everywhere. Inside our space at S-68, we are focused on making clothes. We have rows of machines and people who have been with us for years. It is a bit hot in the summer, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be the most modern place on the block. We just have our setup and we stick to it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We get our fabric deliveries early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad. Okhla is a tough place to navigate if you aren't used to it, but we like being in the middle of all the action. There are plenty of tea stalls nearby where we take our breaks. We spend the day checking patterns and making sure the stitching is right. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we find a rhythm. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just have our address in Phase-ii and the work we do every day. The noise is just part of our life now. We keep our machines clean and our scissors sharp.
