Our office is located in the Delhi Admn Flats over in Gulabi Bagh. Specifically, we are in Quarter Number 1189. Being in a residential block means it feels more like a home than a corporate office. There’s laundry hanging on balconies nearby and kids playing in the lanes sometimes. We moved into this spot because it was convenient for the team to get to every morning. Inside, it's mostly desks and some metal shelving units stacked with various equipment and spare parts. It’s a bit of a maze with all the wires running across the floor, but we know where everything is. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we've been too busy with work to really worry about the decor. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking on the phone about different technical issues that need sorting out. It gets quite warm in the summer, so the old fans are always going full blast to keep us cool. We usually bring lunch from home in tiffins and eat together at the big wooden table in the middle. It’s not the kind of place where you’d see a big company logo on the front door. We just have a small nameplate taped up. It's a quiet area for the most part, except for when the vegetable vendors come through with their carts. We’ve been here for a good bit now and it suits our needs. No frills, just a place for work.
