If you go to Katwaria Sarai in New Delhi, you will find us at F-22/A in the Rahul Apartments. We are up on the first floor. It is a typical Delhi apartment building, so the stairs are a bit narrow and you can hear the street noise from the balcony. Patni Computer Services operates out of this space, which means it feels more like a workshop than a store. We have cables running along the baseboards and a few workstations set up where the light is best. Being in Katwaria Sarai, we get a lot of students and local folks living nearby who need a hand with their machines. It is a bit cramped sometimes when we have three or four big desktops sitting on the floor waiting for parts. The air conditioner hums quite a bit during the summer months, but it keeps the equipment cool. We usually have a radio playing low in the background while we work. It is not the kind of place with a big lobby or a person in a suit greeting you at the door. You just walk in, find us at the bench, and tell us what is wrong with your gear. We try to be straightforward and just get the job done so people can get back to their lives. It is just a normal day for us here in New Delhi. No frills, just plenty of work to do.
