Patel Embrodery

We operate Patel Embrodery out of a small place at 150-g Baba Farid Puri in West Patel Nagar. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. We have our machines set up and someone is almost always working on something. The space is a bit tight with all the thread and fabric around, but we’ve learned how to move around it. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just hear the sound of the needles going. It’s steady work. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years and everyone around knows us. We aren’t trying to be the biggest shop in town; we just want to do a decent job on the pieces we get. Sometimes we stay late to finish a particular task if someone is in a hurry. The street outside is narrow, so parking can be a real headache. Most of our neighbors are friendly enough. We drink a lot of tea while we work to keep going. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes a machine breaks down or we run out of a specific color, but we manage. It’s a real family-run feel here. We just do our thing and try to stay out of trouble. It’s a plain, hardworking environment without any unnecessary frills. We appreciate the people who bring their work to us.
