If you go to Paharganj and head into Multani Dhanda, you’ll eventually find us at No. 9375/8. We are on the first floor. This part of town is narrow and crowded, but it has a lot of character. Wilco Apparel Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in one of those buildings that looks like it’s been there forever. The walk up the stairs is narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything big. Inside, the space is filled with the smell of new fabric and maybe a bit of old wood. We don’t have much room for fancy stuff, so every corner is used for something. There’s a desk near the window where I usually sit, and I can see the tops of the rickshaws passing by below. Multani Dhanda is never quiet. There’s always someone shouting or a motor running. We’ve grown used to the noise over the years. Our office isn't particularly modern, but it does the job for Wilco Apparel. We have a small sink in the back and a cupboard for our lunch boxes. It’s a simple life here in Paharganj. we don't have a big marketing team or a shiny lobby. It's just a bunch of people working with clothes in a small room. We keep the doors open when it's not too dusty to get some air moving through the place. It's just how we do things in this part of Delhi.
