Out Of The Box Bar

At Number 5 in Khan Market, you'll find our place. Out Of The Box Bar is just what we decided to call it when we opened. It’s not as fancy as some of the other spots in the market, but we like it. The stairs are a bit steep, and the lighting is a little dim, but it creates a certain kind of atmosphere for the evening. We spend a lot of our time making sure the bar is stocked and the music isn’t too loud or too quiet. It’s a balancing act every night. Our small staff has mostly been here since the start. Trying to be the most popular place in Delhi isn't the goal, we just want to be a reliable spot where you can sit down for a while. Khan Market is always busy, so we get a lot of different people walking through the doors. Some are just looking for a quick break, others stay for hours. We’ve had to fix the plumbing a few times and the air conditioning can be temperamental when it’s really hot outside, but we manage. No corporate scripts are used when we talk to people. We just say hello and get them what they need. It’s a real place run by real people who just want to keep things going. Big promotions or events aren't our thing. We just stay open and wait for the crowd. It is what it is, a local bar.
