Orcid Infrastructure Developers P Ltd is based out of Pattamundai in Orissa. It’s a smaller place compared to the big cities, but there is plenty of work to do. Our office is near the post office, which makes it easy to give directions. Pattamundai is a quiet town for the most part, though market days can get pretty lively. We work on infrastructure projects, so we spend a lot of time looking at maps and planning out how things should be built. Our walls are covered with project schedules and local area charts. It’s a basic office with wooden desks and some old chairs that have seen better days. We don’t need anything fancy to get the job done. The people in the office are mostly locals from around the 754215 area. We know the land and the people here very well. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard to get around, but we manage to keep things moving. We take pride in just being a local business that understands how things work in this part of India. It’s not always easy dealing with construction and infrastructure, but it’s what we know. We’ve been here for years and hope to stay for many more. It’s a simple life, but it’s a good one. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next project. There is always a lot of tea drinking and talking involved when we are planning something new.
