If you go to the main market in Madhu Vihar, you have to look for Street Number 8. We are right on the corner, but you have to come up to the second floor. It is a bit of a climb, and the stairs are narrow, but once you get up here, it's a bit quieter than the street below. The market is always crowded with people buying groceries and clothes, so our shop feels like a little escape from the noise. We spend most of our time at the workbench with those tiny screwdrivers. It’s mostly phone repairs and helping people with their settings. Since we are on the corner, we have a decent view of the street from the window. The shop isn't very big, so it can get a bit tight when more than three people are waiting. We have some old posters on the wall and a desk that has seen better days. Delhi summers are tough, so we rely on the old AC unit to keep the phones from overheating while we work on them. Most people find us by word of mouth or by just wandering through the market. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. It is a very basic, practical place for anyone in East Delhi needing a fix. We try to keep things simple and get the work finished.
