Our office is situated in Nehru Place, inside the Eros Apartments at unit 207. If you know the area, you know it’s always buzzing with people and business activity. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now, focusing on the garment manufacturing and export community. It’s a group of us who handle the day-to-day stuff for the association. It's mostly about keeping everyone connected and making sure the members have what they need. Nehru Place can be a bit overwhelming with all the buildings, but we like being in the thick of it. The office itself is quite straightforward. We have some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and plenty of files. It’s where we sit and talk about the challenges of making clothes and sending them to other countries. Sometimes it's quiet, other times everyone is on the phone at once. We don't do anything flashy here. It’s just work. People stop by to ask questions or drop off documents. We try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit messy when we’re busy. We’ve seen the industry change quite a bit over the years from this spot. If you’re around 56 Nehru Place, you can just head up to the second floor. It's a regular workplace for regular people doing their jobs. We just keep things moving along for the folks we represent. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby, just a door that stays open most of the time when the weather is good.
