Neelam Sharma

My name is Neelam Sharma and my workspace is located at Patiala House Courts, specifically in number 159. Working in the legal environment here in Delhi means being in the middle of a lot of action every single day. The court complex is always full of people, from lawyers and clerks to folks who are just there for their cases. It is a bit of a hectic atmosphere, but I have grown accustomed to it over the years. My office at 159 is where I keep my books and all the documents I need to handle. It is not a very large space, just enough for a desk and a couple of chairs for whoever needs to sit down and talk. You won't find any fancy art on the walls or expensive furniture here. It is a practical room for a practical job. The mornings are usually the craziest with everyone trying to get their filings done. I tend to drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon. Patiala House has its own rhythm and you just have to find your place in it. Finding room 159 can be a bit of a walk if you enter from the wrong gate, but once you know the way, it is easy enough. It is just a regular part of the court building where I put in my hours and try to keep up with everything that comes across my desk. I just do the work.
