Patiala House Courts 218 is where you’ll find Naveen Kumar Matta. This office has been our base for quite some time now, and it’s right in the middle of the daily court rush. It isn’t a place with fancy furniture or expensive art on the walls. Instead, we have shelves filled with old files and desks that have seen better days. That’s just the way it is when you’re working in the legal field every day. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us making sure the paperwork is handled. The hallways outside are always full of people, so it gets noisy, but we’re used to it by now. We spend our mornings checking the court lists and our afternoons catching up on typing and filing. Sometimes we grab a quick tea from the stall nearby when things get too hectic. We don’t try to sound like a big marketing firm because we aren’t one. We’re just local people doing a job that needs to be done. There’s no special secret to how we work; we just show up, do what’s required, and try to keep things moving for everyone involved. It’s a lot of waiting and a lot of reading, but that’s the life we chose at Patiala House. If the door is open, we’re usually inside working on something.
