National Institute Of Educational Research And Training

The National Institute Of Educational Research And Training is currently based out of Jhelum Hostel, Room 230, inside the JNU campus in New Delhi. It’s an academic setting, as you can imagine. JNU is a huge place with lots of trees and old buildings. We are just in one of the hostel wings. It’s not a grand institutional building with its own gate. We share the space with the student life that goes on all around us. The 110067 area is quite unique. You hear a lot of discussions and debates while you’re walking to the office. Our room is filled with books, papers, and research notes. It’s a bit crowded inside, but that’s how research work usually looks. We spend our days looking at educational data and training materials. It’s a quiet corner for thinking and writing. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you want to find us, you have to navigate the campus paths to Jhelum. The tea at the local dhabas nearby is what keeps us going. We’ve been working from this spot for some time. It’s a very practical setup for people who are into education. We aren't a big commercial entity. We are just a group of people doing research in a small room in a university hostel. It's simple, a bit messy with all the papers, but it’s where we do our work. We focus on the training side of things and let the rest of the world go by.
