Academy Of Skills

We are based out in Mehrauli at building number 1092. It is an older part of the city, and the building we are in has a lot of character, though it could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We focus on teaching different kinds of practical skills that people can actually use to find a job or maybe start a small business of their own. The rooms are usually filled with all sorts of tools and different materials depending on what is being taught during that particular week. It often gets a bit messy because people are actually busy doing things with their hands rather than just sitting still. We do not really mind the mess much; it just shows that people are actually working and learning. We have got some basic desks for when we need to go over the theory parts, but most of the time is spent on the hands-on stuff. The stairs leading up to our space are a little bit steep, so you have to be careful when you are coming up. We have been here for a good while now and most of the neighbors in the area know what we do. It is a very straightforward and honest operation. We do not have a big budget for marketing, so most people find us through word of mouth. It is a busy and productive place most days of the week.
