National Informatics Centre Head Quarter

We’ve been based here at Hanuman Road for quite some time now, right in the busy DIZ Area near Connaught Place. Being in this part of New Delhi means there is always something going on outside our doors. Most days, we are just focused on handling the informatics and data work that comes through the National Informatics Centre Head Quarter. It’s a lot of computer work and keeping things running behind the scenes. The office at C 21 isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we get our daily tasks done. Sometimes the traffic around CP makes getting in a bit of a hassle, but we are used to it by now. People often stop by asking for directions or about various government digital services we look after. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Our day starts early with tea and then it’s straight into the systems. There are quite a few of us working in different sections here, mostly just making sure the technical stuff stays on track for the departments we support. It can get pretty loud during peak hours with all the street noise, but inside we just keep our heads down and work. It’s an interesting spot to be in, right in the heart of the city, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. We just try to stay efficient and handle the volume of information that passes through this office every single day.
