Rajiv Rexine Store

Rajiv Rexine Store is located right on Jhandewalan Road, near Shankar Piau in Nabi Karim. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. Our shop at No. 10665 is filled with rolls of rexine in all sorts of colors and textures. It’s a heavy material, so moving the rolls around is quite a workout. We sell to people who make bags, seat covers, and all kinds of upholstery. The smell of the material is quite strong when you first walk in, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don’t have much space for people to sit down, as most of the floor is taken up by the stock. The walls are lined with samples that have been there for ages. Sometimes the sun fades the ones near the door, so we have to rotate them. We don't have a marketing team or any fancy brochures. People just come to us because they know we have what they need for their projects. It’s a family-run business and we take turns minding the shop. Sometimes we have a chat with the neighbors over a glass of tea while waiting for customers. It’s a busy street and there’s always something happening outside. We just keep our heads down and focus on cutting the material to the right length for whoever walks through the door at Nabi Karim.
