Our office is tucked away on the first floor of building 258 in Hari Nagar Ashram. If you know South Delhi, you know this area is pretty crowded and there is always something happening on the streets. We work as builders and developers, which means our shoes are usually dusty from visiting different sites. We aren't the type of people who stay behind a desk all day long. The office is really just a base where we can meet and keep our documents organized. It’s a modest space, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the newer parts of the city. We’ve been operating from this Ashram address for a while now. Getting things built in Delhi is a challenge because of the traffic and the rules, but we have figured out how to navigate it over time. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just look at a piece of land or a renovation project and see what needs to be done. The team is small and we all know each other well. Sometimes we have tea together downstairs while discussing the next day’s schedule. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to finish our current projects and move on to the next one without too much fuss. It is a lot of coordination and making sure the materials show up on time for the workers.
