Deep Apparels

Our place is located in the D. D. A. Flats in Munirka, specifically at C - 1 / G. It’s a residential-style area, so it feels a lot different than being in a big commercial mall. We’ve been operating Deep Apparels from here for some time now. The space is a bit tight because we have machines and stacks of cloth everywhere you look, but we make it work. It’s a quiet enough corner of Munirka until the sewing starts up. We spend our mornings cutting patterns and the afternoons putting things together. Living and working around the flats means we know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy pretty well. We don’t do much fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people just know us as the apparel guys in the C block. It’s a practical way to run a business without too much overhead. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the inner lanes of the DDA complex, so we end up carrying rolls of fabric by hand for a bit of the way. It keeps us moving. Every day is pretty much the same routine of measuring, cutting, and checking the finish on the garments. It’s honest work and it fills up the hours from morning till late evening when the lights finally go off. There is always something to sew or a button to fix before we finish.
