M/S Phool Chand Garg & Sons

We’ve been operating out of X-1 in Loha Mandi for quite a long time now. Naraina is a busy place, and if you know the iron market here, you probably know where we sit. It’s mostly family-run, passed down through the name Phool Chand Garg. We deal with various metal supplies every day. The office isn't fancy, just a workspace where we track orders and talk to regular buyers who come by. Some days are louder than others with all the trucks moving in the yard. We mostly just focus on getting the weight right and making sure the inventory matches what we promised. People stop in, have a quick tea, and discuss what they need for their construction or factory work. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We don't spend much time on decorations or flashy signs. Our focus stays on the stacks of iron and steel waiting outside. Sometimes the dust from the mandi gets everywhere, but that’s just how it is working in Naraina. We know our neighbors and the other traders around here well. If someone needs a specific size of rod or sheet, we look through the piles to see what's available. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but we keep at it. Usually, we are here from early morning until the sun goes down and the last truck leaves the gate. It's just us doing what we know best in this corner of the market.
