You can find Varma Jain Timber Traders over on DB Gupta Road. We are at Plot No 3/2 in the Paharganj area. It’s a crowded part of the city, so there’s always a lot of movement. The smell of wood is the first thing you notice when you walk into our yard. We’ve been working with timber for a long time. It’s a family-run thing, really. The yard is full of different cuts and types of wood stacked up high. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just the wood, some saws, and a small office where we handle the bills. Most of the time we are out back moving things around or helping someone load up a truck. Paharganj is a busy place, and getting a big vehicle in here can be a challenge, but we make it work. We don't have a marketing department or a spokesperson. It’s just us. We know our wood and we know how to cut it. Some customers have been coming to us for decades, and now their kids come here too. It’s a straightforward business. We wake up, we work with the timber, and we go home. The equipment is old but it works fine. We don’t see any reason to change things that aren't broken. If you’re looking for timber, we’re right here on the main road. It is a dusty job, but someone has to do it, and we happen to like it.
