Our place is over in the Dsidc Complex in Udyog Nagar. We’re at D-8, Nangloi No 4. If you’ve been around this part of town, you know it’s full of factories and workshops. Duggal Sewing Machine India is dedicated to exactly what the name says. We deal with sewing machines all day long. Some are old, some are new, and many need fixing. The floor is usually covered in little bits of thread and some oil from the machines. We don't have a slick showroom. It’s more of a working shop where tools are scattered on the benches. We’ve seen all kinds of problems with machines over the years. People bring them in when they stop working, and we do our best to get them running again. It’s a lot of fine-tuning and getting the timing right. The complex can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We’ve been in this unit for a while, and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything they don't need. If a machine is too far gone, we’ll tell you. We just like the mechanics of how these things work. It's a steady job. We open up early and stay until the work for the day is finished. It’s not fancy, but it works for us. We just keep the lights on and the tools ready for whoever comes in next.
