We have been at Shop No. 2 in the Tip Top Market for a long time now. If you know Karol Bagh, you know how busy Saraswati Marg gets during the day. It is always loud and there is a lot of movement outside our door. Our space here isn’t very big, but it is packed with whatever stock came in that week. We spend most of our mornings unpacking crates and checking lists. It gets quite hot in the summer, especially with the sun hitting the front of the market. We usually just have a small fan going and keep the door open for some air. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it hard to hear people talking inside. We deal with a lot of different people coming in from all over the city. Some are looking for specific parts and others just want to see what we have on the shelves. Most of our day is just paperwork and making sure things get sent out to where they need to go. We are right in the middle of everything here. It is a bit messy sometimes with boxes stacked up in the corner, but that is just how it is when you are busy. We have a tea stall nearby that we go to twice a day. It is a simple life running a shop in this part of Delhi. We just show up and do the work.
