Friends Mutual Fund

We operate Friends Mutual Fund from an office in the middle of Connaught Place. Being in CP means there’s always a lot of noise, traffic, and people moving around outside our windows, but inside we try to keep things a bit more quiet and focused. We spend our time looking at market numbers and helping people understand where their money is actually going. It’s not the most exciting work for everyone, but we find it important and we enjoy the puzzles it presents. People come in with questions about their savings or what they should do for their kids' future, and we just sit down and look at the charts together. We aren't some giant bank with thousands of employees and fancy suits. It's a smaller setup where you can actually talk to the same person twice and build a bit of a relationship. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming because there are so many rules and forms to fill out, but we stay on top of it as best we can. We've seen the markets go up and down over the years, so we don't get too worked up about the daily swings anymore. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, but it works well for us and the people who visit. It’s easy to get to because of the central location, though parking can be a real headache around here most days. We’re just regular people trying to help our neighbors make sense of their finances.
