Our office is located at No.228 in the Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase III. We are right near the Modi Mills Flyover in New Delhi. Being in Okhla means we are right in the thick of things. It’s a mistake to think it is ever quiet here. It’s a busy industrial area with lots of trucks and people moving about all day. The Indian Polyurethane Association has been based here for a good while. The office isn't anything fancy to look at. It’s a place where we keep our records and hold some meetings. We have a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets along the walls. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the flyover outside. We spend our days answering the phone and dealing with the daily mail. There’s always some paperwork to catch up on. People from different businesses stop by to talk about industry stuff. We have a small kettle for making tea when guests arrive. The walls are covered in some old photos and charts from years ago. It feels like a place where work actually happens. We don’t have any fancy decorations or expensive furniture. The lift in the building is a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs to get up. It’s a practical location for us. Being in Delhi, everything is close by, but the traffic can be a real headache. We just take it as it comes.
