We operate out of room 908 at Kasturba Gandhi Marg, right in Ansal Bhawan. Being up on the 9th floor gives us a decent view of the city, but most of our time is spent looking at paperwork instead of out the windows. The morning rush for the elevators is something we all try to avoid by coming in at different times. Manuals and catalogs are stacked up on almost every flat surface. Most of the day involves phone calls and emails to track deliveries or talk to clients at different sites. The name Mekaster Engineering & Equipments Pvt Ltd might sound formal, but we are just a small, dedicated team. Fluff and marketing talk aren't really what we do here. The office gets noisy when everyone is on the phone, but that is how things get moving. Dealing with heavy equipment means there is always a technical problem to solve or a logistics issue to handle. We’ve been in Ansal Bhawan long enough to know the rhythms of the building and all the people working nearby. It's a steady, busy life on KG Marg that keeps us focused.
