Our office is right on Chattarpur Mandir Road, over in Shaupur Mehrauli. If you’ve ever been around here, you know the traffic can be something else, especially when there’s a crowd at the temple. We’ve grown used to the noise and the constant movement outside. Inside, things are mostly about keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. We do a lot of coordination, making sure things actually get to where they’re supposed to go without too much trouble. It’s not always smooth, sometimes a truck is late or a box gets misplaced, but we just deal with it as it happens. We’ve got a small team and we’ve all been working together for a while, so we don't need to explain much to each other anymore. The desks are always covered in manifests and notes scribbled on whatever paper was handy. It’s a real place where work happens, not some showroom. We like being in this part of town because it feels alive. Usually, by the afternoon, the office is pretty loud with people talking on phones or shouting questions across the room. We don't have a big receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will eventually look up from what they’re doing. It’s a busy life here in Mehrauli and we just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do every day.
