Manufecturing Engineer

We are located over in Sector 37 of Noida, specifically at B-45. This part of Noida is full of industrial units and workshops. Our place is one of them. We focus on the engineering side of manufacturing. It’s mostly about figuring out how to build things better or faster. There is always a lot of grease and oil around because we work with heavy machinery. The office part is just a small corner with some old desks and a computer for the designs. We spend most of our time on the shop floor. It gets pretty hot in the summer, especially with the machines running, but we have some big fans to keep the air moving. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group of engineers and technicians who like to build things. Sometimes we stay late to finish a specific part or to fix a machine that broke down unexpectedly. People in the neighboring units know us. We often borrow tools or help each other out when something goes wrong. It’s a very practical way of working. No one wears suits here; we all have our work clothes on. We don't do much in terms of advertising. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the area who need our technical skills. It's just a regular day-to-day operation in an industrial sector. We keep things simple and try to do the work right the first time. Sometimes we have a late lunch together when a job is difficult. It's life in Noida.
