Mansa Designer Linen & Garments

Working out here in Okhla Industrial Area Phase 2 is something else. Our spot is F- 35/5, and if you know this part of Delhi, you know it’s always crowded with trucks and people moving boxes. Mansa Designer Linen & Garments isn't a showroom; it's more of a working space where we handle a lot of fabric. The linen gets everywhere, little bits of thread on your clothes by the end of the day. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate, and the roads are usually pretty bumpy, especially when it rains and the puddles stay for days. We spend most of our time at the back where the light is better for checking the garments. The machines make a lot of noise, so you have to shout a bit to be heard. We’ve been in this building for quite some time. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with orders to worry about that. There’s a tea stall just around the corner that we go to twice a day. It’s just how things are in Okhla. You get used to the smell of diesel and the sound of generators. We don't have a big front office, just a desk with a lot of papers and samples piled up. It's a real mess sometimes, but we know where everything is kept and how to get the job done.
