Cadd Wears India

Cadd Wears India is based over at No. 702 in Mangolpur Kalan. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been working out of this spot for a good while now. The building is pretty basic, just enough room for our equipment and the finished pieces we have ready to go. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and worktables. We don't have any air conditioning, so we keep the doors open and the fans going full blast during the summer months. It can get pretty dusty with all the fabric fibers flying around, so we have to sweep the floors at least twice a day. We spend most of our time at the cutting tables or checking the seams. It’s the kind of work that keeps your hands busy all day. We know the other folks in Mangolpur Kalan, and it feels like a real community here. People stop by to chat or just to see what we are working on. We don't have any polished showrooms. What you see is exactly what we are doing. Some days the machines give us trouble and we have to spend the morning fixing them instead of sewing. It’s just part of the routine. We focus on getting the work done and making sure nothing gets sent out with a mistake. It’s a lot of honest work in a small space, and we don't really have time for anything else but the job at hand.
