Mahaveer Fertilizer & Pesticides

Mahaveer Fertilizer & Pesticides is located at C-134 in Defence Colony. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for a business like ours, but it works out for us in the end. We spend our days surrounded by heavy bags and plastic containers of different supplies for plants and crops. It’s not a glamorous job by any means. Usually, my hands are a bit dirty or covered in dust by lunch time. People come in asking about their home gardens or their small farms on the outskirts of the city. We try to give them what they need without making the whole thing too complicated or technical. The shop is small and sometimes the smell of the products is quite strong, but you get used to it after a week or two of working here. We aren't trying to be the biggest or flashiest shop in town. We just want to make sure the stuff we sell actually works for the people who are buying it. Sometimes we sit outside on these little plastic stools when it’s quiet and just watch the traffic go by on the main road. Defence Colony is a nice area to be in, even if our shop is more about utility and dirt than looks. We’ve had some of the same customers for years now and we know their families. They know exactly where we are at C-134. We don't do much advertising. Word of mouth usually brings folks in when their plants start looking yellow. It’s a straightforward business.
