Laxmi Krishi Kendra

You can find Laxmi Krishi Kendra at Old 58 in the Indra Market near the Subzi Mandi. We mostly sell things related to farming and gardening. Seeds, some tools, and other stuff like that are what you will see on our shelves. The shop isn’t very big, but we pack a lot into it. Farmers from the outskirts often come here to get what they need for the next season. I spend a lot of time talking to them about what they are planting this year. It’s interesting to hear about the different crops and how the weather is affecting them. We aren’t experts, but we’ve learned a lot over the years just by listening to our customers. The shop has been here for quite some time now. It is a bit dusty because of all the bags of seeds and the busy street outside. We don’t have a computer to ring things up or track everything. We just use a calculator and give hand-written slips to everyone. It works well enough for us. The market can be overwhelming for someone who isn’t used to the chaos, but we like the energy. We open early and close when the market finally slows down in the evening. Sometimes we have to hunt for specific seeds that a customer wants. It is a lot of back and forth with different suppliers. We don't make big promises to anyone. We just sell what we have and try to be helpful.
